This privacy policy describes how Ink4mail.com (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with Ink Ad Manager, an internal application we use to manage and report on our own advertising campaigns.
Who this application is for
Ink Ad Manager is a private, internal business tool. It is not offered to the public and it has no public user accounts. It is operated by our staff and authorized contractors to manage advertising accounts that we own, or that our clients have expressly authorized us to manage on their behalf.
Information we access
When an authorized user connects a Google account to Ink Ad Manager, the application requests permission to access the following Google data:
- Google Ads data (adwords scope) — campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, search terms and performance metrics for the advertising accounts being managed.
- Google Analytics data, read only (analytics.readonly scope) — website traffic and conversion metrics used to evaluate advertising performance.
- Google Search Console data (webmasters scope) — search performance data and sitemap status for properties we manage.
We also store the OAuth tokens Google issues, so the application can refresh this data without a person re-authorizing it each time.
Ink Ad Manager does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar, photos, or any other Google service.
How we use this information
We use the data solely to operate the application’s stated function: consolidating advertising and performance data, generating and reviewing ad copy, and producing reports for the accounts we manage. We do not use it for any other purpose.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade this data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. Data may be disclosed only where required by law, or to service providers who host our infrastructure and are bound to protect it.
Limited Use disclosure
Ink Ad Manager’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it except as necessary to provide or improve the application’s stated function or as required by law, and we do not allow humans to read it except with the account owner’s explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Storage, retention and security
Advertising data and OAuth tokens are stored on infrastructure we control, with access limited to authorized personnel. Access to the application itself requires authentication.
We retain data for as long as the connected advertising account is actively managed. When an account is disconnected, its stored credentials are removed and its cached advertising data is deleted or anonymized.
Revoking access
An account owner may revoke Ink Ad Manager’s access at any time from the Google Account permissions page. Revoking access immediately stops all further data retrieval. To request deletion of data we have already stored, contact us using the link below.
Children
Ink Ad Manager is a business tool, is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
