You’ve probably noticed by now that ink4mail.com has gone through an extensive redesign process, in order to make it more useful from a mobile device. Although we are not yet done with our plans, we hope the improvements that we have made help us improve your purchasing experience. Certainly mobile is a hot buzzword these days, and here is an article that slows that down a little, showing that a lot of focus on the desktop side of things is still appropriate. http://marketingland.com/mobile-vs-desktop-mobile-won-might-still-losing-148800

Not sure what to think of this…
Apparently coloring books for adults is now a “thing”? Although it doesn’t use the right kind of ink, it at least intrigues me to figure out what increases interest in something like this. I guess it is an alternative to hour after hour of candy crush 🙂 http://www.everythingetsy.com/2015/10/free-printable-coloring-pages-for-adults-12-more-designs/
Rake in the Cash is in full swing
If you’ve got a few extra recycled cartridges lying around the warehouse or production area, box ’em up and let us send you a label to send them our way, at our expense. All you need is 50 cartridges to have us pick up the shipping, and during our fall recycle campaign, you will receive a 30 cent credit per cartridge for any non-recycled cartridge. If you have questions, feel free to send them to us at info@ink4mail.com.
Lexmark Product Discontinuation
Information provided by Collins Inkjet:
July 17, 2015
Dear Valued Customer,
This letter is to inform you that all Lexmark inkjet supplies will be discontinued at the end of this year, 2015. The affected products are the single use cartridge (-LXCT), the bulk cartridge (-LXBC), and the bulk tank (-LXBT). Effective December 31, 2015, these supplies will no longer be available.
Within the next 30 days, Collins will be placing its final supplies order with Lexmark. Therefore, in order to assist you and your customers through this end of life transition, we need to understand how many cartridges you will need. Our intent is to supply customers into the first quarter of 2016. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your specific needs. This will be our last opportunity to source products from Lexmark.
We do not enjoy the task of informing you of this discontinuation, but it is beyond our control. If you would like to discuss possible replacements or alternative solutions, please contact one of our technicians. We would be happy to help you find something suitable.
We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you.
Best Regards,
Collins Inkjet
And a follow-up pick me up, if you’re willing …
Somehow the old adage “If you can be trusted with little, you can be trusted with a lot” pops into my mind related to this one.

And now for something a little depressing …
How come my age always seems to be ahead of the curve, and my savings seems to be behind the curve?
Sorry for the delay …
I apologize that it has been awhile since I’ve posted. I’ll try not to let that long a gap happen again 🙂
Here’s an article about some great TED Talks. If you aren’t familiar with TED Talks, watch a couple of these and you’ll probably be hooked, like me. www.inc.com/minda-zetlin/5-inspiring-ted-talks-that-will-free-you-to-be-happy-and-successful.html
Some different thoughts on webpage layout…
The common idea of web page design is that your most important features have to be above the fold, but this piece has some statistics that indicate our common thinking may not be correct. http://www.lukew.com/ff/entry.asp?1946
Sometimes, the old-fashioned ways are best…
It is easy to get wrapped up in the instant-on society. It can wear on us at the edges, until what we thought was good becomes unrecognizable. http://smallbiztrends.com/2015/05/reasons-to-unplug.html
