Price increases rippling through the industry

We’ve sent out a few emails about price increases as they have come up over the last several months. We hope we kept you well informed about KAO Collins and HP Versatile increases.

If you are interested in keeping your costs low, we did want to pass along that our line of remanufactured inks from Colorlabs has not yet experienced a price increase, and we have not been notified of one.

Remanufactured inks still have a higher failure rate than OEM inks, but that gap is narrowing, so if you are looking for a place to save some money, a little testing might be in order. Let us know if we can help you out with that.

The largest news this past year came from Sun Chemical’s acquisition of Flint Group’s European ink business or Evonik’s completed acquisition. There are rumors, however, that we will see an increase of challenges in the market this year.
