We haven’t been as good at communication as we should be.

We can talk about the various reasons, but we won’t :). At the end of the day we haven’t done a good enough job communicating with you, our loyal customers, and we are aiming to do better.

One of the things you may not know about ink4mail.com is that we are at our core a technology company. Our sister business, Advantech Consulting Group, develops websites, mobile apps, and gets involved in other technology related projects.

One of the hot topics in IT right now is artificial intelligence (AI), so was thinking about how to kind of blend all of that together, and this is what we’ve come up with …

We’re going to prompt one or more AI text generation engines (Chat GPT, and whatever other ones wander into the flavor of the day), with words about small business (creativity, adaptability, resilience, passion, etc), and publish those responses.

So, if our writing over the next few posts sounds better or worse than our typical efforts, AI is to take full blame.

Inks for Addressing

The inkjet addressing industry is a rapidly growing market that is being driven by the increasing demand for personalized and customized marketing materials. Inkjet addressing printers are used to print variable data onto a variety of substrates, including envelopes, labels, and documents. This allows businesses to create personalized marketing materials that are more likely to capture the attention of their target audience.

There are a number of different inkjet addressing technologies available on the market, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The most common type of inkjet addressing printer is the thermal inkjet printer. Thermal inkjet printers use heat to create small dots of ink on the substrate. This type of printer is relatively inexpensive and easy to use, but it is not as accurate as other types of inkjet addressing printers.

Another type of inkjet addressing printer is the piezoelectric inkjet printer. Piezoelectric inkjet printers use small crystals that vibrate when an electric current is applied. This vibration creates a small drop of ink that is then sprayed onto the substrate. Piezoelectric inkjet printers are more accurate than thermal inkjet printers, but they are also more expensive.

The inkjet addressing industry is expected to continue to grow in the coming years. As the demand for personalized marketing materials increases, businesses will need to invest in inkjet addressing printers in order to stay competitive.

Here are some of the benefits of using inkjet addressing printers:

  • Personalization: Inkjet addressing printers allow businesses to personalize their marketing materials by printing variable data, such as names, addresses, and dates, onto the substrate. This helps to create a more personal connection with the recipient and can increase the effectiveness of the marketing campaign.
  • Accuracy: Inkjet addressing printers are very accurate, which is important for printing sensitive information, such as addresses and dates. This helps to ensure that the information is correct and that the recipient receives the correct information.
  • Speed: Inkjet addressing printers are very fast, which allows businesses to print large volumes of personalized marketing materials quickly and efficiently. This can save businesses time and money.
  • Versatility: Inkjet addressing printers can be used to print on a variety of substrates, including envelopes, labels, and documents. This gives businesses the flexibility to print their marketing materials on the substrate that best suits their needs.

If you are looking for a way to personalize your marketing materials and increase their effectiveness, then you should consider using an inkjet addressing printer.

Our Inks work for package printing, as well.

The package printing industry is a large and diverse field that encompasses the printing of a wide variety of packaging materials, including boxes, bags, labels, and wrappers. The industry is constantly evolving as new technologies and materials are developed, and it is essential for package printers to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in order to remain competitive.

One of the most important aspects of package printing is the use of ink. Inks must be able to adhere to a variety of substrates, including paper, plastic, and metal, and they must also be able to withstand the rigors of the printing process, as well as the elements. Collins and HP are two leading manufacturers of ink for the package printing industry.

Collins is a global leader in the production of ink for the packaging industry. The company offers a wide range of inks, including water-based, solvent-based, and UV-curable inks. Collins inks are known for their high quality, durability, and colorfastness.

HP is another leading manufacturer of ink for the packaging industry. The company offers a variety of inks for both digital and analog printing. HP inks are known for their high quality, performance, and environmental friendliness.

The package printing industry is a vital part of the global economy. Packaged goods are essential for the distribution and sale of goods, and the quality of the packaging can have a significant impact on consumer perception. By using high-quality inks, package printers can help to ensure that their products are packaged in a way that is both attractive and durable.

Here are some of the benefits of using Collins and HP inks in the package printing industry:

  • High quality: Collins and HP inks are known for their high quality and performance. They are designed to produce sharp, vibrant colors that are resistant to fading and other environmental factors.
  • Durability: Collins and HP inks are also known for their durability. They are designed to withstand the rigors of the printing process, as well as the elements. This means that your packages will look great for longer.
  • Environmentally friendly: Collins and HP inks are also environmentally friendly. They are made with a variety of sustainable materials and processes, which helps to reduce the environmental impact of your printing.

If you are looking for high-quality, durable, and environmentally friendly inks for your package printing needs, then Collins and HP inks are a great option.

Price increases rippling through the industry

We’ve sent out a few emails about price increases as they have come up over the last several months. We hope we kept you well informed about KAO Collins and HP Versatile increases.

If you are interested in keeping your costs low, we did want to pass along that our line of remanufactured inks from Colorlabs has not yet experienced a price increase, and we have not been notified of one.

Remanufactured inks still have a higher failure rate than OEM inks, but that gap is narrowing, so if you are looking for a place to save some money, a little testing might be in order. Let us know if we can help you out with that.
