DAMAGED CARTRIDGES

Every once in a while we get customers contacting us with defective cartridges.  As with any product, there can always be problems, however OEM ink cartridges have a less than 1% failure rate.  Many times these issues can be avoided with a little more delicate care and handling.  Cartridges should never be forced into the cartridge slot.  This can tear or dent the copper connector plate of the print head.  Damage to the print head can result in the cartridge not working at all or not having the ability to print a full image.  For more ideas and tips on handling ink cartridges, visit our website https://www.ink4mail.com/faq/maintenance.   Below is an example of a damaged print head that will now longer print a full image:

COLLINS RELIABLE H AND COLORLABS MRH07A

There has been an increase lately in two of the inks that Ink4Mail.com stocks.  The Colorlabs Remanufactured MRH07A Aqueous Ink Cartridge has been one of the cartridges that have increased in sales.  The MRH07A Aqueous Ink offers good resolution and image density as well as good adherence when used with high output heater or dryers on both porous and non-porous stocks.  This ink is comparable to the Aqueous Secap Picaso but is offered as a money saving option as it is a remanufactured cartridge.

The Collins Reliable H black ink prints darker than other Collins Inks and is designed to dry very quickly on coated stocks, both glossy and matte.  The Collins Reliable H is designed particularly for standard offset copy paper but can used as well on corrugate stocks.  For more options and comparisons for paper types and which Collins Ink is best for use on those paper types, visit our Ink Selector on our website.
