Packaging
From time to time, you may receive an ink cartridge that has minor damage to the packaging. It may be as small as a dented corner of the box or it may even have the perforated tab punched in. These are usually just cosmetic damage to the outside packaging of the box and don’t really cause any damage to the cartridge itself. This damage could come in transit to you or it may have come in transit to us. The cartridges are well protected in the packaging and very rarely is there ever an issue with the cartridge. If you do, however, receive a cartridge that has quite a bit of damage that results in it being non-functional, please let as know as soon as possible. Cold Weather Advisory for Shipping
Due to extreme freezing temperatures, we just want to make our customers aware of the risk of shipping ink cartridges. Although we have not had any issues as of yet, some of our manufacturers are alerting us to the idea that a possibility exists. Due to these restrictions from our suppliers, please note that Ink4Mail.com cannot guarantee products after they freeze. Please keep this in mind when placing ink orders in the cold temperatures and consider Next Day Shipping as these shipments are constantly moving and there is less time to freeze in warehouse or trucks. COLD WEATHER INK CARTRIDGE HANDLING
We wanted to pass along some tips for handling your ink cartridges in the winter weather extremes as the cold temperatures can affect the cartridge. Store your current stock of ink cartridges away from exterior walls to keep them closer to room temperature. For cartridges that have been recently shipped, we suggest letting them slowly return to room temperature before they are used. If you have a cartridge that is not working properly, it is likely due to the temperature of the ink. Hopefully these tips will make the cartridges work correctly.
