Communication is easy, clear communication is hard.

You never really know if your communication is clear until well after it is sent, or at least that is how it feels in my mind. Hopefully we do a pretty good job at communicating clearly what ink4mail is here for, or at least answering questions when we don’t do the initial communication well …

The Struggles of Lacking a Cellphone

While you may have read the headline correctly, and could write your own blog post as to how many issues you would have when not possessing a cellphone, not owning a phone makes people better communicators. I mean real communicators. Even having your phone broken for three days feels nice to not have to be constantly connected. Sure, you lost your mind when you see a cracked screen, but after the serene silence sets in, it’s nice.

I don’t exactly agree with giving a seven-year-old a cellphone and having them a few inches from a tiny screen every day. Twelve-year-olds sit in their school cafeterias staring at devices instead of communicating with one another. Fifteen-year-olds are absolutely terrified of having to talk to their hair stylist, give a speech, or ask for assistance in a store. I can’t help but make connections to the fact that today’s society is pushing more toward zero communication.
